These gave way to Elso Jewellery, a Melbourne-based, made-to-order label with a sustainability-first mindset. Pieces inspired by women in Pablo Picasso’s life, including Françoise Gilot and Dora Maar, tether Strohfeldt’s necklaces and rings to the art world, while classic hoop earrings, finished off with white formation opals locally sourced from South Australia, ground her jewellery to now. And, in the spirit of giving back—which feels even more pertinent in the wake of Covid-19—wearers can feel good knowing a percentage of their purchase will be directed to a charity of their choice.
